Awakening Valentine

Intermediate Level study in tonal expression from the ‘In My Room’ Collection

‘Awakening Valentine’ is an evocative and expressive piano solo which was written to encourage and guide the teen student through the complicated concept of rubato.  The student is given step by step guidance through this process with the aid of a supplementary version of the piece so that once the process is understood, they can then apply their own interpretation to the music.

Although written for teens, the pieces in this collection are all evocative and beautiful piano solos which are equally loved by pre-teens and adults.
