Those Fiddlers Three (Piano Duet)

‘Those Fiddlers Three’ is an advanced level piano duet adapted from the solo version which opens the ‘A Right Royal Flush’ suite.

A satirical reinvention of an historical nursery rhyme with a medieval flavour.

     Old King Cole was a merry old soul,

     And really, who wouldn’t be?!!

     We can only surmise 

     What he smoked in his pipe

     And the truth of his fiddlers three

     Truly I jest, for the subject of our tale

     Was blessed with finer needs

     Music poured from the walls

     Of his banqueting halls

     And heralded battlery
