‘Beyond the Magical Mystical’ is a follow-on collection from the original ‘Magical Mystical’, with pieces a little more difficult and requiring more from the piano student in terms of technique and interpretation. Each piece is highly evocative with titles designed to encourage imaginative thought. Each piece utilises techniques which are necessary in the development of tonal beauty.
Pieces are engaging and with a Celtic feel – some beautiful and flowing, others dark and mysterious.
