‘A Pocketful of Jazz’ is a satirical reinvention for advanced piano, of the Sing a Song of Sixpence nursery rhyme and is 4th in the ‘Right Royal Flush’ suite of reinvented nursery rhymes with a medieval flavour and a jazz twist.
Cruisy and bluesy, this lyrical piano solo is lovely to play, with jazz riffs and tremolos interspersed with big treble chords.
